On July 2, 2009, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met in Ziguangge, Zhongnanhai with a number of foreign dignitaries, who are here in Beijing for an upcoming global think-tank summit. The dignitaries included former President of the European Commission and former Prime Minister of Italy Romano Prodi, former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, Director-General of World Intellectual Property Organization Francis Gurry and Secretary General of United Nations Conference on Trade and Development Supachai Panitchpakdi.

President of China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) Zeng Peiyan, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and other officials attended the meeting.
